Meet Our Leadership Team

Chelsey Geiger

Chelsey Geiger

President

Chelsey Geiger brings a decade of experience partnering with hospitals and health systems to enrich the experience of the providers and patients they serve. Chelsey began her career in healthcare with PhysAssist Scribes, where she became integral in the operational design and scale of the company as it achieved over 1200% growth during her tenure. Chelsey and her team acquired and successfully implemented new business in over 400 hospitals and healthcare facilities across 38 states. She helped lead PhysAssist through its acquisition by HealthChannels in 2018, and has since brought her leadership experience to the CareThrough team (a division of HealthChannels). With her leadership, CareThrough is helping improve the quality of care coordination while managing costs. Chelsey’s innovative approach to new contract implementation, data-driven processes and customer service delivery, are just a few of her lasting contributions to the healthcare industry and its best practices existing today.

Chelsey earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She currently resides in Denver, Colorado, with her husband. They are avid skiers, runners and cyclists, and enjoy all of Colorado’s outdoor offerings.

Suzanne Crincoli MSN, RN

Vice President of Clinical Quality

Suzanne Crincoli MSN, RN joined HealthChannels in 2017 as a nurse consultant. She worked closely with executives to shape the company’s suite of innovative solutions designed to get nurses back to the bedside. Recently, Suzanne joined the CareThrough team as Vice President of Clinical Operations and Support. In this role, she develops strategies for today’s complex healthcare environment. Suzanne’s extensive experience in hospital leadership, community health and policy, and clinical practice makes her the type of transformational leader today’s nurses need.

Prior to joining CareThrough, Suzanne served as a Nurse Leader for the nursing administrative team. In addition to her leadership role, Suzanne has over 12 years of clinical nursing experience working as an emergency department nurse. Her areas of expertise include hospital operations, staffing budgets and department of health regulations. In 2018, Suzanne was nominated for the Organization of Nurse Leaders (ONL) Aspiring Nurse Leader Award. In conjunction with the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing, Suzanne co-authored a grant to enhance community-based health promotion that was funded by the New Jersey Healthy Communities Network.  As a county health coach for the New Jersey Action Coalition, Suzanne was involved in advancing the nursing profession by collaborating on models to create seamless academic progression and community-based population health initiatives.

Suzanne is the first BSN-PhD candidate to be accepted into Rutgers University. She also earned a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership with a focus on Organizational Complexity. As a PhD student, Suzanne’s research interests focus on health promotion, as well as factors influencing differential organizational support for nursing practice within acute care hospitals.

Annie Poe, MPP

Annie Poe received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University. She previously worked for ScribeAmerica in 2009 as a Project Leader, implementing scribe programs in multiple Emergency Departments across the nation. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 10 years, most recently in healthcare information technology, where she used her clinical experience as a scribe to analyze and enhance the EHR system and high-level strategic business policies in one of the largest healthcare organizations in Texas.

Although her roots lie in Southern California, Annie currently resides in Austin, Texas where she enjoys eating, music festivals, and traveling.

Michael Murphy, M.D.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Michael Murphy is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of HealthChannels, the parent company of ScribeAmerica, CareThrough, and SoundLines. Today, with over 3,500 partners and touching the lives of more than 46 million people, HealthChannels is the nation’s most frequently used strategic solutions company.
As a result of Dr. Murphy’s leadership, the HealthChannels family has received several accolades. ScribeAmerica was ranked on the INC. 500/5000 for America’s fastest-growing private companies in 2011-2020. ScribeAmerica was also the recipient of the “Good to Great” award in 2015 and honored by being ranked number two by Modern Healthcare as one of the nation’s Hottest Healthcare companies. Dr. Murphy continues to be a recognized leader and was a finalist for the prestigious Ernst & Young Award for entrepreneurship.
Prior to HealthChannels, Dr. Murphy served as an Army Ranger for the 1st Ranger Battalion in Savannah, Georgia, which allowed him to gain various leadership skills along with the ability to develop standard operating procedures. Dr. Murphy has been an innovator and a leader on multiple healthcare issues including lowering the cost of healthcare, the transition to value-based care, point of service solutions, and innovative technologies. His goals are to continue making all practice locations an environment built for exceptional patient experience and allow providers to work top-of-license.
Dr. Murphy received his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University and completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. He has co-authored one textbook and is involved in three peer review articles. As an avid golfer and supporter of veterans, Dr. Murphy founded the Fore the Brave Charity Golf Tournament in 2015 to support veterans and their families.
Tony Andrulonis, M.D.

Chief Operations Officer

Dr. Tony Andrulonis leads operations throughout the HealthChannels family of solutions. In this role he collaborates cross-functionally with executive, senior and local management to define key performance objectives, and develop strategies to address healthcare delivery challenges.

As an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Andrulonis has driven groundbreaking results in clinical care, and administrative efficiency over the course of his career. With expertise improving the quality of life for patients and providers, he guides health systems through the transition to value-based care.

Prior to joining HealthChannels, Dr. Andrulonis served as the President of Emergency Medicine at Envision Health, and Chief of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baptist Health in Miami, Florida. As a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Task Force member, Dr. Andrulonis contributed to the emergency response for 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. He is a sought out speaker, and was recognized by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) as a “Hero of Emergency Medicine” during their 40th Anniversary celebration.

Dr. Andrulonis graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds an MBA from Northwestern, Kellogg School of Management and served as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Larsen

Executive Vice President of Senior Management

Jennifer Larsen joined HealthChannels in 2006 and helped grow the company from a small start-up to the market leader in the scribe industry. Jennifer was one of the first HealthChannels managers to implement new scribe programs across the United States. Her work ethic and innovations in developing scribe programs matured and enhanced HealthChannels’ model for physician groups and hospital partners. She authored the guide to standardizing program procedures for managers, streamlined operational practices, and created the compliance protocol to meet national Joint Commission standards for scribes. Today as a partner and Executive Vice-President of Senior Management, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing and improving scribe programs nationwide.

Jennifer graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. She was a recipient of full athletic scholarships and played Division I tennis for both University of Wyoming and University of California at Irvine.

Jennifer takes pride in assisting physicians and helping them work at peak efficiency; through scribe services she strives to continually enhance the work/life balance for clinicians across the country.

Jackie Reynolds

Executive Vice President of Operations

Ms. Jackie Reynolds holds a B.S. In Biological Sciences from San Diego University. She joined the HealthChannels team in 2006 at Tri-City Medical Center, where she was a stand out scribe and was relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2008 to begin working with HealthChannels’ first national client, Florida Emergency Physicians (FEP). After excelling at her position of a project leader and regional manager, she became a partner and Vice President of Business Development in 2009 and is now HealthChannels’ Executive Vice-President of Operations.

In her spare time, Jackie enjoys hot yoga and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys the beach and outdoor activities, which are available almost year-round in Orlando. She has also become an Orlando Magic fan since moving to Orlando.

Mike Welch, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Mike graduated undergrad at York College of Pennsylvania with B.S. in Accounting, received an MBA from Florida Atlantic University with Accounting Concentration and Passed CPA exam in 2009. Mr. Welch is licensed in the State of FL.

Mike started his career in Audit at Deloitte & Touche (D&T) in South Florida.  He worked on D&T’s largest public companies in the South Florida market.

Most recently, Mike spent four years with Sunera where he worked on a variety of projects, including Internal Audit Compliance, Cash to GAAP accounting conversions, audit support for clients, purchase accounting projects for newly acquired companies, valuation work with regards to intangible assets, bankruptcy support and served as main contact/preparation for financial reporting.

Gary B. Glass

General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary

Gary joined HealthChannels with more than two decades’ worth of legal, compliance and human resources experience in various arenas including government, large law firms, and privately-held and publicly traded companies. He began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor at the New York County District Attorney’s office in Manhattan. After three years as an Assistant District Attorney, he joined the private sector as an associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler and then as a partner at Winston & Strawn, a global white-shoe law firm with 1,000+ attorneys across three continents. After 11 years of outside counsel practice, Gary moved in-house in 2002 as a Senior Assistant General Counsel for Altria Group Inc., a Fortune 20 consumer product manufacturing conglomerate including Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, and Miller Beer. At Altria, based in New York City, Gary focused on litigation, corporate compliance, and human resources. He later joined UST Inc., a $12 billion S&P 500 manufacturing company based in Connecticut, as the Company’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. After UST was acquired and its HQ relocated to Va. in 2009, Gary accepted the role of General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at iGPS Logistics, a privately-held asset pooling company based in Florida.  After 5+ years at iGPS, Gary joined HealthChannels (then called ScribeAmerica) in 2015 and currently serves as the Company’s General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary.

Gary graduated from Princeton University in 1987 and Fordham University School of Law in 1992.

 

Craig Newman

Chief Strategy Officer

Craig Newman serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for HealthChannels where he works alongside current and prospective partners to translate insights into action. Craig joined the firm in 2015 and works with teams across HealthChannels to drive innovation, develop high performing strategies and productivity improvements.

In this role, Craig helps develop strategies that improve efficiency and help care teams work at the top of their license. Using a consultative approach, Craig and the Client Solutions team work to develop tailored, individualized strategies that address the challenges facing HealthChannels’ partners. During his tenure at HealthChannels he has supported the firm through five medical scribe company acquisitions and numerous product launches.

Prior to joining HealthChannels, Craig spent over eight years at the Advisory Board Company, a national healthcare research and solutions firm. Craig worked in a consultative role to support hospitals and health systems with service line strategy and clinical technology assessment. He also worked to launch several initiatives focused on network strategy, referral management, and various use cases for leveraging real time-predictive analytics.

Craig and his wife currently reside in Fort Lauderdale, where he enjoys playing golf, cooking and traveling.  

Amanda Ford

Amanda Ford

Executive Vice President of Operations

Amanda works closely with hospital partners and staffing groups across the country to deliver customized healthcare solutions at the point of care. She has worked in the medical scribe industry since 2002, beginning her career as a scribe leader and implementer. Her work has helped shape today’s modern medical scribe industry. 

Amanda has served in business development roles strategizing with partners as well as overseeing operations teams focused on standardization and execution. She has led national teams through periods of dynamic change, including expansions and acquisitions. Amanda’s experience and expertise in the healthcare industry paired with her legal training allows her to work with our partners to deliver innovative and compliant solutions across the care continuum. 

Amanda graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Biology and earned a JD from Texas A & M Law School, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her husband, two sons, and two stepdaughters.
